About Rwashoscco:
Rwanda Small Holder Specialty Coffee Company is a farmer owned marketing, export and roasting company that also provides key services to small holder coffee cooperatives. All profits made from this company is distributed back to the farmers.
The company’s mission is to produce the Africa’s finest coffee for sale at exceptional prices allowing not only the hundreds of thousands of rural poor Rwandans to improve their livelihood but also to maximize both the member farmer's income and the company’s revenue at the same time.

Gift Exceptional Coffee, crafted by Gift Coffee Company Ltd and co-owned by Mr. Bizimungu Abel and a local partner, originates from Rwanda's high-altitude Shyembe Cell in Maraba, Huye District. This premium coffee, grown by the owners and local farmers, benefits from organic fertilization by 80% of its growers, ensuring its unique flavor. The company operates a coffee washing station, directly benefiting around 625 local households by processing both its own and neighboring cherries.
Employing six permanent staff and up to 200 seasonal workers during the harvest, Gift Coffee specializes in the Arabica variety. This coffee is washed using pure water from a historic Rwandan mountain, enhancing its quality. Aimed at improving local livelihoods, the project addresses poverty among the extensive community it supports..
