Aldea Coffee Under the leadership of Aldea Coffee, more than 13,500 smallholder coffee farmers in the lush northern regions of Nicaragua are pioneering the Coffee Renewal with Agroforestry System (SAF). This initiative aims to increase the productivity and quality of coffee plantations through environmentally sustainable methods. Aldea Coffee is committed to a model of sustainability that emphasizes transparent, equitable, and direct engagement between specialty coffee farmers and conscientious roasters and importers. By integrating agroforestry into coffee farming, they aim not only for superior yields, but also for environmental conservation.
