AMACOF is a cooperative located in the Amazonas region of Peru, focused on producing high-quality organic coffee. Committed to sustainability, the cooperative promotes responsible agricultural practices, providing its members with training and resources to improve their farming techniques. Their coffee, primarily Arabica, is certified organic and handpicked to ensure quality. In addition to its production focus, Amacof positively impacts local communities by providing fair prices and empowering farmers. The cooperative also undertakes environmental initiatives, such as promoting agroforestry systems that enhance biodiversity and sustainably manage water resources. Its commitment to quality and sustainability has earned it recognition at international fairs. Amacof arose thanks to the spirit of sacrifice of our members, affected by the abuse of private companies or by corruption in private associations or cooperatives, who were encouraged to trust once again in the will of the Lord and create this association that with effort and companionship is moving forward and ensures the well-being of all members. especially for the neediest and poorest in our region. |
