Finca Los Jilgueros - Beneficio Santa Lucila

Owned by Mr. Henry Padilla. Los Jilgueros farm is located in Las Sabanas, in the Madriz municipality at an average altitude of 1,500 masl. Mr. Padilla produces mainly Bourbon and Caturra and uses banana trees and guava as shade trees.
Harvest starts around the ends of December and ends in March. Coffee is depulped, fermented and washed at Los Jilgueros and then taken to Beneficio Santa Lucila in order to perform the final milling.
Henry has been a strong participant in the has won the Nicaragua Cup of Excellence.
