All the way on the southern side of Mexico, the Chiapas area is just on the border of Guatemala's Huehuetenango region, so the coffees share some similar qualities. Situated on the Guatemalan border, you’ll find the state’s finest coffees growing between 1,300 and 1,700 m.a.s.l. Chiapas also holds the crown for supplying the most coffee in Mexico, at 40% of the country’s entire yield.
