Meseta de Popayan​ is a plateau that rises well over 1,700 masl. Rich volcanic soils, abundant sunlight, combined with stable climate conditions and the dedication of Colombian producers yield this typical fine Popayan.

Popayán, located in the Cauca Department of Colombia, is known for producing high-quality coffee. The region’s coffee is grown in the fertile, high-altitude areas surrounding the city, benefiting from ideal climatic conditions and volcanic soil. Popayán’s coffee is celebrated for its mild flavor, bright acidity, and well-balanced profile, often with fruity and floral notes. The coffee is produced mainly by small-scale, family-owned farms, and the region has gained recognition for its sustainable and organic farming practices.
