Morgan Stanley Coffee Report

There weren’t any notices issued on first notice day, and the market wasn’t really expecting many, but the lack of any shift in certified stock ownership was greeted with a yawn, at best.   The Arabica market spent the first half of the session trading above unchanged and the last half of it trading in negative territory with a range of plus 130 to down 220 points, ultimately settling with a loss of 1 cent as a spurt of buying pushed the market a cent higher on the close.  London traded in $17 dollar range, its tightest range in 3 weeks and closed the day on the lows for a net 7 dollar loss.  External cues went lacking as the CRB was a mixed bag and the financial world keeps tabs on the latest polls on whether Great Britain’s will vote tomorrow to leave the European Union. Results are not expected until Friday and although polls are mixed, bookmakers odds shifted today to choosing to remain in the union.
