UCA San Juan del Río Coco, R.L. is a union of eight cooperatives representing 370 small coffee producers, including 80 women and 290 men. Since its establishment, the union has implemented a Certified Organic Coffee production program, achieving excellent sales prices through an established market for this high-quality coffee.
UCA SJRC has been a pioneer in organic coffee production and marketing in the country since 1993. Its goal is to promote an entrepreneurial vision by facilitating the socio-economic development of its members through credit services, technical assistance, training, and the commercialization of organic coffee, aimed at improving the living standards of cooperative members. |
