APROCAES, a young but rapidly growing coffee cooperative in northern Peru, was founded in 2019 with the goal of uniting small coffee farmers to access better markets for their high-quality specialty Arabica coffees. The cooperative currently has over 300 members cultivating coffee on 1100 hectares in the Cajamarca region, known for producing exceptional Arabica with flavor notes of caramel, cacao, berries, apple and prunes. APROCAES emphasizes transparency, quality, efficiency, and social and environmental responsibility in their work with farmers to improve livelihoods and deliver exceptional coffees to markets around the world[1].
