COCASFEL Founded in 2014 through a partnership between public and private sectors with support from the Hanns R. Neumann Stiftung Foundation and PROTCAFES. COCASFEL was formally established in November 2016 and received legal recognition in February 2017. Since then, it has focused on promoting sustainable coffee production in Honduras' Ocotepeque region. Initiatives include delivering premiums to producers, creating organic fertilizers, combating child labor, and expanding infrastructure such as a warehouse and biosafety equipment. COCASFEL's ongoing efforts in social responsibility and community support underscore its pivotal role in local economic and social advancement.
