Huila is a department located in central-southwestern Colombia, with a geography formed mainly by the great Magdalena valley within the Central and Eastern Cordilleras of the Andes. Coffee growers here are generous, noble, and proud of their folklore and culture. Huila coffee features aromatic, slightly floral notes.
Grown in the region’s high altitudes and volcanic soil, Huila produces some of Colombia’s finest Arabica beans. The region’s small farms, often family-owned, combine traditional and sustainable farming methods to create premium coffee that is highly sought after on the global market. |
